Edith Ribeiro Obituary
Born in Pawtucket a daughter of the late Augustus and Maria (Silva) White. She lived in Lincoln since 1951.
Edith was a line leader at CCL for twenty years retiring in 1982. She was a former President of the Lincoln Manor Tenants Association and volunteer at the Lincoln Senior Center.
She leaves one daughter Cynthia M. Chalmers of Cumberland, three sons Gabriel Ribeiro, Jr. of Hope Valley, Edward and Steven Ribeiro both of Virginia, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from BELLOWS-FALSO Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church Front St. Lincoln at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated. Steve, ED, Cindy and Gabe My prayers go out to all of you at this very sad time of your lives. Your mom made many of my childhood memories some of the most cherished I will always have. Steve, I miss the friendship we once had, it was special and I thank you for that. It is funny how in the age of mass comunication two old friends cant seem to stay connected.
