Enrico Feragne Obituary

FERAGNE, ENRICO 'ERIE' F., 84, a resident of Cortland Place in Greenville and formerly of Heather St. in North Attleboro passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Miriam Hospital following complications related to his ALS illness. He was the former husband of the late Lorraine (Thompson) Feragne and more recently the former husband of the late Eda (Rossi) Feragne.

Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Theodore and Josephine (Galasso) Feragne. He was a veteran of WWII and served as a Tank Crewman with Company C 31st Tank Battalion at the battle of Normandy and in the campaigns in Northern France and in the Rhineland. He operated his own vending business through Pack Shop Associates for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his daughter Susan Joy Szczesny and her husband Ron of Southfield, Michigan, by his son Erie of Venice Beach, California and by his son Mark and his wife Gail (Fondi) along with their daughter Lauren and their son Adam, all of Greenville. He is also survived by his brother Eugene 'Gino' Feragne of Alabama. He was the father of the late Lynn Feragne and the brother of the late Antonio, Salvatore, John, and Domenic Feragne.

Funeral Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Spruce Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Im so sorry for the loss of my great uncle. I remember going to his home in Attleboro when i was a little girl. We had so much fun at those cookouts. Mr prayers are with his whole family. Love.
