Flora Linhares Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Ortenzia (Gasbarino) Montecalvo and the beloved wife of the late Anthony Linhares.
Mrs. Linhares was the devoted mother of Eileen C. Berarducci and her husband Vincent J., Mary Ann Basile and her husband Vito M., and the late Barbara Masi; mother-in-law of Anthony Masi; grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 6; sister of Victoria Silvestri and the late Mary D'Alfonso, Louise Luciano, Carmella DeResta, Roger, Joseph and Ralph Montecalvo.
Visitation Monday, 5-8 p.m. with funeral services on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI- MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. www.mem.com

Dear Eileen & Maryann, I am sorry to here of your Mom's passing. I had a chance to talk to her in July to let her know that my mom had passed away on July 3rd. She sounded great at that time and just hearing her voice brought back a lot of memmories..especially Christmas at your house when we where kids....and those yummy cookies. She will always have a special place in my heart. She's with my mom and they're having a great reunion!
