Dear Auntie Ellie, Jackie and Georgie,
Through my tears I started to think of my childhood when we would all pile into Uncle Franco's suburban and spend the day at the beach. We would play in the water and lay in the sun. Then we would dig for clams and look for muscles. With our catch of the day, we would head back to Murray Street where Uncle would start to prepare dinner.
We ate many wonderful seafood pasta dinners on Uncle Franco's beautiful stone patio. After dinner full and tired,we kids would either go watch TV or hangout in the basement listening to music while the adults talked.
To Uncle Franco home was important and he made sure his was impeccable. It was attractive, comfortable and stocked with goodies. It was all the things a home should be. It was fun to be there and we looked forward to every visit.
As I write this I find myself giggling when I remember Uncle Franco's outrage when he found Christmas tree needles under the livingroom carpet in July. And his indignation when he discovered we kids had been using his toothbrush for the family dogs dental hygiene. He would laugh when we called him "Frank" and he would ignore why his cigarettes were disappearing.
Uncle Franco loved us and cared about us and we loved him.

Sordoni Family,
I am sorry for your loss, Franco helped out immensely with car issues or anything that would come out of the blue; i know my mother and I were thankful for his help on problems, but i always will remember his "Green Thumb" showing us how to plant anything.:-) Big HUG and Prayers. <3

Dear Elli and Family: How lucky Franco was to have you as his wife, the devotion you showed while I was at Tockwotton and continued to show throughout his stay was amazing. You were always there for him and I am sure that made his days/years there bearable because of your presence. I can't imagine the loss you must feel but remember the good times and happy memories and know that he is looking down upon you and will always be there with you. Carmella Farrell

To the Sordoni Family,
I am very sorry for your loss, Franco was the best neighbor we ever had. Knowing my mother was a single parent, he helped out a lot when there was a car problem or any other issue. He was a humble man and i am glad he was always there for us if we needed help. My Condolances.
