Frank Pirri Obituary
61, passed away at home Friday August 17, 2018 surrounded by his family after an 11 year battle with liver disease. He was the husband of his devoted wife, Norma-Jean (Varrica) Pirri for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank T. and Mary C. (Guido) Pirri.
Frank was the meat manager at Shaw's Supermarket, retiring in 2010 due to illness. He was also the co-owner, with his father, of Modern Meat Market from 1978 until 1990. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends as the "Rock", for being a devoted and loving husband and father. He was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan. Frank was known for his quick witted one liners that could make anyone laugh.
Besides his wife, he was the loving father of Laura-Jean Ferranti and her husband David, Samantha Pirri, and Frank T. Pirri, III and his wife Alyssa, two grandchildren, Christian and Francesca Ferranti and two sisters, Maryann D'Allessandro and Margaret Pirri.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 9AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. To Norma Jean and Family
I Met Frankie when he was ten years old at the Modern Meat Market. I watched him mature and become A Husband Father and Business man. We drifted apart over the years but I was fortunate enough to meet him once more in his twenties and he actually let me ride along with him in a business venture he had. That lasted for a couple of years which I was with him five days a week. Then life and our family life parted us once more. Frankie always called me a legend to him. I am happy and sad to have seen him one more time to bid him farewell and give a kiss until we meet again. Frankie you are now my LEGEND I love You Son. God Bless You and Rest In Peace

Frank you were a good person and had a warm heart. You were always respectful to me and I shall never forget your kindness. My condolences to the entire family, stay strong, Gid bless and most of all keep the faith. Frank was in a lot of pain at the end of his life and it was time for him to go home. So so sorry for your loss!
