FRED WALTZ Obituary

WALTZ, FRED F., 87, resident of No. Smithfield, died Monday at Fatima Hospital. Husband to the late Rachel (Gageant) Waltz. Son of the late Fred Waltz.

He owned and operated the Fred F. Waltz Co.

Survivors include his sons Richard F. of Dartmouth MA, Craig P. of Cumberland, and Stephen of Harrisville, daughters, Kelly Grenier of Foster and Kimberley Waltz of Tiverton. He is also survived by, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving son David A. Waltz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, at 10am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the KEENE-BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 445 Greenville Rd., N. Smithfield. Calling hours and flowers are omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the RI Alzheimers Society. Brownfuneralhomes.com

Dear Waltz Family, We are so sorry for your loss. My memories of Fred begin when I was in high school. He and your mother were such a great couple and he could be so much fun.
Fred and Rachel are now reunited in the embrace of the Lord. May you find consolation in this.
