Gloria Rocchio Obituary

ROCCHIO, GLORIA A., of Cottage Avenue North Providence passed away peacefully at Miriam Hospital on Monday, December 12, 2005.

Born in Providence she was the devoted daughter of John and Amelia (Antonelli) Rocchio of Providence.

Miss Rocchio was a graduate of Classical High School and URI. She was a dedicated school teacher at Broad Street School in Providence for 35 years.

Besides her mother and father she is survived by a sister, Ella (Rocchio) Sarra, and four nieces and nephews; Nancy Forte, Lori Petros, Virginia Hesse, and Frank Sarra, Jr.

Funeral and VISITATION will be held at 'WOODLAWN' Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston 8-9 AM Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, RI 02911. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
