Harry Kayarian Obituary

KAYARIAN, HARRY N.
beloved family man, died peacefully on April 25, 2018 in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Formerly of Warwick, Rhode Island, he was born on June 2, 1925 to Mary Hope and Harry Kayarian of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Harry was a Ham radio operator who served in World War II as a member of the 63rd Infantry Division, Armored Reconnaissance Troop as a radio technician. On his return from the war he met and married the love of his life, Anne Bedrosian. They settled in Warwick, where Harry got a job in radiobroadcasting at WPRO in Providence. In 1959 he had an opportunity to manage and acquire a vending machine company, Coffeetime, Inc., which together with his partners and family, grew to be a very successful full-service food provider that catered to local manufacturers until it was sold in 1992.
An electrical engineer by trade, one of Harry's greatest attributes was his pragmatism. He had an uncanny ability to create a mechanical solution to any problem. Both his home and workplace were filled with inventive, highly functional and delightfully unique devices that could change your life with the touch of a button. He had a passion for photography and left behind a legacy of beautiful family photos. He also loved exercising and started a gym in his teen years, and continued to lift weights until his final days.
Harry was a humble, honest and kind man. He was a loyal friend, a dedicated and loving husband and father and an extremely proud grandfather. He is survived by his three children, Judy, David and James and their spouses, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister in-law Gloria Casparian and his brother, Leon Kayarian.
The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, May 11th, at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI, from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home on Saturday, May 12th at 11 a.m. Burial, following the service, will be at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick, RI.

Leaving life as you lived it is as about as good as it gets, seems fitting for a man who appeared as good as it gets. I Like to believe if we could speak with Harry today, he'd let you know he's okay.

Bless, bless to the flourishing family of House Kayarian/Howard from your hearty friends of House Olton.
