Helen Gervais Obituary

GERVAIS, HELEN F. (ENRIGHT) 85 of Narragansett, formerly of Cranston, passed away Sunday January 13, 2008 after a prolonged illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry David Gervais.

Born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph Harold and Sarah Jane (Newton) Enright. Helen worked in the jewelry industry and as a home-maker most of her adult life. She most recently resided with her daughter Robin Chute and her husband Mark in Narragansett.

She was the beloved mother of Gail McCauley of North Providence David Gervais of Coventry Robin Chute and Denise Gabellieri both of Narragansett, 10 grandchildren James McCauley, Steven McCauley, Kellie Sargent, David Gervais, Danielle Gervais, James Bianco, Stacy Silva, Trisha Bianco, Renee Gabellieri, Rachel Gabellieri and 16 great grandchildren. Sister of Melvin Enright, Mary Feeley, Juanita Hawes, Raymond Enright, Margaret Rini, William Enright and the late Edward Enright.

She lived for her family. Her quick wit and passion for cooking will be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church Oaklawn Avenue Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. PRIVATE CALLING HOURS for family and relatives only Wednesday MORNING from 8-9 a.m. in 'WOODLAWN' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. I know this has been a long and hard struggle for the entire family. She was such a beautiful person. She touched a very special place in my heart. Denise and Robin, her strength and beauty lives in you and your entire family. I was lucky to experience this and the true meaning off family With Helen and through all of you. I didn't know Helen but I was very friendly with Pete Foley and even worked for him. I remember Eddy Enwright and Jimmy Mccauley.
