Dear Gary, Jeff, Sandy and Family;
I am so sad to learn of the death of Hope. Our families go back so many years that as I kid I remember Ruthie as one of my mom's best friends and Suzy and I playing with the Bender kids. This kind of family history is so unusual in these days. I used to babysit for Michael when I was a kid. Diane later on worked for one of the campaigns I was on. She was as charming and as much fun as I remember her mom to be. Please know how I am thinking of all of you at this time and what a loss it is for your family that such a vivacious and kind woman is now a memory.

It is with great sadness that I write these condolences to your family. Although I only had a few oppurtunities to spend time with Hope, she was a wonderful person.
