HOPE SIMONE Obituary
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothea (Buffington) LaForge. Mrs. Simone was a baker for B.J.'s Wholesale Club of Johnston for several years. She was a communicant of St. Brigid's Church, Johnston.
Besides her husband, she was the loving mother of two sons: Michael Simone of Johnston, Steven and his wife Christine Simone of Johnston; cherished Nana of: Charles, Joseph, Steven II and Nicholas Simone. Sister of Cheryl Rambone of Johnston and Audrey LaForge of North Kingstown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield Street, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Visit www.nardolillo.com for information and online condolences.

Im so sorry for the lost of Hope, she will be missed by so many people. She was one of a kind. My son Philip spent a lot of time at the house with her and your family and always was made to feel like part of the family. To Joey you are part of my family and cared for by both me and Philip always. All of you take care of each other as she would have.

Dear Simone Family,
Hope was a fantastic woman and she always knew how to make people laugh... She was like a grandmother to me. She would always welcome me in to her house and say: "You gonna have sumthin' to eat Stet?" and she was always so welcomeing to anyone who ever came into her house. She would cook day and night and there was no end until now. She will be remembered and I will always be here for the family if they ever need a friend.

to My second family. I have never had so much pain in my life knowing my second mother has passed. I had a lot to tell her and never got a chance. I loved her more then life and always will. She was there my whole child hood and i will never forget the coffee's every morning and the great mom she was to all us kids growing up. I loved her very much and will never stop thinking of her. Dear Nick ,Michael ,Steven,Chris and Hopes cherished and loved grandsons,
I am very sad and at a lost for words right now. I lost my very dear friend that has always been there for me and my family. She is the strongest ,sweetest ,loving and caring women I will ever know. I will miss her smile her humor and her 2 hour phone conversations. She was there for me for the good times and the bad times. I could always count on her. I know she loved me and I love her so much. She was like a Mom , Sister and best friend all in one and I am lucky to have had her in my life. I am so sorry about the loss of Hope. I remember all the good times I had at the house as a young girl. She was always cooking or baking (or cleaning) something. She loved all the kids and always made us feel at home. She is now flying with her butterflies. She will be sadly missed.
