Joan Bucklin Obituary

BUCKLIN, JOAN R. 74, died peacefully at home on April 23, 2011, Holy Saturday, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Howard J. Bucklin. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John A. Zuffoletti and Jeannette D. (Plante) Austin. She was an exceptionally devoted mother to her children, Kathleen A. Bucklin, Howard D. Bucklin, Laura J. Cabral and her husband Ronald and Susan M. Solitro and her husband Brian and grandchildren Brianna, Jake, Sarah, Ronald, Michaela and Coleen. She is also survived by her twin brother John R. Zuffoletti of Warwick, RI and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral and celebration of life will be held on Wednesday April 27 at 8:30 AM from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 PM.
