John Lawson Obituary
He was the husband of Doris E. (LaPorte) Lawson for 26 years.
Born in New York, he was the son of the late John and Alice (Lovelock) Lawson.
Mr. Lawson was the Executive Director and Producer of the cable access show 'Kids Break' for 18 years.
He was the father of John Lawson Jr., Patrick Lawson, Candace Lawson-Reim and the grandfather of 4.
Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m. with funeral services on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860. www.mem.com.
