JENNINGS, KATHLEEN (MARTIN), formerly of Cranston died on January 27, 2006 at the Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was 83.

Mrs. Jennings was the daughter of the late John E. (Jack) and Katharine T. Martin. Jack Martin was the school sports editor of the Providence Journal for many years. Mrs. Jennings was the sister of the late Adele M. Otis and Harold T. Martin. She and her late husband, Joseph E. Jennings were married for 50 years.

Her survivors include sons, John, Gerald and Thomas; daughters-in-law Karen and Katherine; six grandchildren and her sister, Jacqueline M. Wright.

She was also very active with Cranston High School Alumni activities for the class of 1940. A photograph of Mrs. Jennings and her sisters published in The Journal that same year under the caption 'Three Smart Girls - The Martin Sisters' captured her enthusiasm and spirit.

To the Jennings family -- Please accept my deepest condolences on Latsie's passing. I saw her last at Uncle Mahlon's funeral, and she looked pretty good for having been through so much. What a year we've all had. You will all be in my prayers with wishes for peace and acceptance of your loss.

Dear Jennings Brothers,

What a sad year it has been for all of us. Latsie will truly be missed. Her kitchen was such a special place. Although I have moved far away my family in Colorado treasures the times with Latsie. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Cousin Martha
