Laureen Aubee Obituary
66, of Atlantic Ave., Warwick died unexpectedly on February 24, 2021 at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Stephen Aubee for 48 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Loretta M. (Medeiros) Haugen.
Laureen a woman of faith was kind, caring, generous and always gave of herself to help others. She was creative and enjoyed baking especially making wedding cakes. She was a best friend and confidant a family or friend could ever have and always there for a friend in need. She had worked as a waitress at The Islander for 25 years before her retirement.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter Michele Aubee of Warwick, her sister Donna Haugen and husband Rod Piller of N. Smithfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10am in St. Margaret's Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Burial is Private. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8pm.
Please omit flowers, contributions in Laureen's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
Social distancing and wearing of face masks are required.
