LUCY MATHEWSON Obituary
Born in Newport, she was the daughter of Albert and Lottie (Rumbles) White. Lucy enjoyed and worked at Crescent Park, worked at area jewelry companies, banks, and the Red Cross during WWII.
She was truly happy in her Riverside home with her companion the late Ronnie Buddenhagen. Lucy is survived by her two granddaughters Jennifer and Heather J., two great-grandchildren Benjamin and Heather C., and her very close friends Tony and Marion, and Ed and Irene. She was the sister of the late Albert White, and Eva Chappron. Lucy's family would like to thank the hospice supporters, caring workers, staff, and friends at Evergreen Nursing Home, and send a quote from Lucy to all 'Toot A Lu'.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday 10AM-12 PM with a funeral service at 12 PM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside. Burial will be in Olivet Memorial Park. Visit smith mason.com for information and on-line condolences.

With loving heartfelt sympathy to Lucy's family and friends . I know that my brother Ronnie will be at peace to finally meet up with her in heaven. She was a loving soul and a great conversationalist! She will certainly be missed by all.

My thoughts are with the family right now as they go through this transition. Lucy's release from pain is a blessing, and I hope that from this the family will find the healing and release they also need.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Lucy's family and friends. I am Ronnie's sister and she made his last years complete. Lucy had a heart of gold and I hope that she is by his side in heaven.
