Maria Ribeiro

RIBEIRO, MARIA A. (dos SANTOS) 106, of Emerald Bay Manor died Sunday, July 29, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Angelo R. de Almeida Ribeiro. Born in Portugal a daughter of the late Eduardo and Maria dos Santos, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 52 years. Mrs. Ribeiro was a weaver before retiring and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland. She was an avid gardener, a tremendous cook and a collector of fine linens. She is survived by two daughters, Dolores Monacelli of Narragansett and Angela Ribeiro of Cranston; two sons, George Ribeiro of San Diego, CA and Edward Ribeiro of Cumberland; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose dos Santos. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY, AUGUST 3 at 11 A.M. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln FRIDAY 9-10:30 A.M.
