Marie Geremia Obituary

GEREMIA, (ASCHETTINO) MARIE E. 96, a resident of Cranston for 75 years, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Hattie Ide Chafee Nursing Home in East Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent F. Geremia, Sr. Marie was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Brigida (Petorella) Aschettino. Marie was devoted to her family and a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the daughters of Isabella and a communicant of St. Paul's Church. She is survived by her loving children, Norma L. Paliotti of Cranston, Dr. Vincent F. Geremia, Jr. of Bristol and Robert A. Geremia of FL. She was also the cherished grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 9 and was the sister of Ernestine Colarulli of CT, Eve Robi of Cranston and the late Agostino and Corinne Aschettino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 am in St. Paul's Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Easter Seals, 213 Robinson St., Wakefield, RI 02879. Laurie,
