MARIE GEREMIA Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Filomena (Campopiano) Ricci. Marie was co owner with her husband of Annex Hardware Co. in Silver Lake for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed baking, making the most amazing cookies, traveling and sewing. She was especially known for her counted cross stitch.
She was the mother of Mary Famiglietti, Patricia Geremia and Linda Geremia; sister of Beatrice Boyer and the late Alfred Ricci; grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 14 and mother in law of Richard Famiglietti and Anthony Coccoli.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to the Susan G. Patsy, Linda and Mary,
Please accept my deepest sympathy and my family's sympathy for the loss of your mother. Your mother and your late father were two of the nicest people from Silver Lake. Who can ever forget the hardware store? One of the best short cuts in the neighborhood was behind your house and the building. You're in my thoughts and prayers and so is your mother.
