Norma Lasorsa Obituary

LASORSA, NORMA (BERARDINELLI) 82, of Tidd Street, peacefully passed away Saturday. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to William Lasorsa. The daughter of the late Edmund and Eva Berardinelli, was a lifelong Providence resident. She was a graduate of the St. Xavier School. Norma's life was devoted to motherhood and her faith in God. She was an active member of the St. Jude Society and St. Pius V Church. Her love and devotion was to the Patron St. Therese, the little flower. She is survived by her husband, William, her daughter Denise Solomon and her son in law Providence City Council President Michael Solomon. Three grandchildren Tarah Provencal, her husband Paul, Alanna Scott, her husband James, and Lauren Solomon, her great granddaughter, Adelle Provencal, and her sister and brother in law, Agnes and Lawrence Basile. She leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. There is a mass of Christian Burial for family and friends at 10:30am on Wednesday at St .Pius V Church, Eaton Street. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours kindly omitted. MARIANIANDSON.COM

To the Solomon Family

Dear Denise, Angelo and I are so upset we did not find out about your mother's passing till yesterday. Your mother was so so kind to Angelo and was such a kind person. All of her novenas will always be remembered by us. I hope your dad will be strong in his faith at this difficult time. We know you will miss her.

Dear Bill and Denise; my sincere condolences to you for the loss of Norma. Take comfort in knowing your wife, your mother, lives on in the many memories of those who knew her throughout her life. You folks were present at so many family functions in my childhood, of which I keep fond memories. I remember there was always lots of laughter. Good times.
