Extending my deepest sympathy to Wayne & Family. Sister Linda was very special to me.We met at a home bible study and shared many days reviewing "The Word". She was supportive through illness, deaths in the family, and prayed for the health of the babes yet to come.We walked together for exercise, but I walked beside her as she saved souls! She entered Brazilian stores,Cape Verdean restaurants & even walked the cobblestone streets of Nantucket sharing "The Word". Not a day goes by that she does not come to mind.I miss her so very much!BUT..... she will stay with me forever...in my heart, but also my mind. I can hear her...." Sister Karen rehearse your scripture!" May she rest in peace.
Love & blessings,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

So sorry for the loss of sister Linda .....truly devoted to the lord. She knew her God and had no doubt about who she served. I will miss her spiritual guidance and counsel. She always had a word from the Lord for you and anyone. I can just imagine what the lord has in store for her.....let's rejoice in her legacy. She was a serious lady of the word and I will forever hold her love and knowledge of the lord close to my heart. It is my prayer that sister continues to bless us from above as she did when she was on this earth. Love you sister Linda B

Dear Wayne and Vinnie,

While I have not been in your mother's company for many, many years Linda was a schoolmate of mine… back in the day. I remember when she and your dad were married. We are now what is termed the “Old Timers” I believe.

I lost touch with Linda from then `50-60's to now. What I can share with you both is that losing a mother is very painful, regardless! Your mother is the person that shared her heartbeat- with you both. This is something that no one else could have ever done for you. This connected you two with her forever.

I hope she did not suffer and that her spirit will live on in you both.

From an old “Eastsider”, I send my sincere sympathy to you both.

Wayne, my sons and I are saddened by your mother's passing. She was such a gentle, caring woman. She was always so kind to my children and me. We've been neighbors for 15 years, and during that time have shared both laughter and tears. I will miss her. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers. Take comfort in knowing that she has left us to live Christ's glory!

Dear Wayne and Vinnie
I'm really sorry to hear about your Mother. We both know that she is now with God in a better place with her suffering gone. I know how much her pain caused you sorrow and grief, and I found it extremely difficult to see you bear it. But, God will never give us more than we can bear, and he is with you through every step in your life.
Your Mother will always be with you; her spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your Mother but the time you did spend with her meant so much to her. Your Mother loved you very much and I know you will miss her terribly. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives and your Mother was one of the best examples I know.
With our deepest sympathy, your friend, (“Sister and Brother in Christ”)
