Auntie Bea, Ray, Bill, Beth, Joshua, Jonathan, Kate, RJ, and Sarah,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Ray was one of a kind! He wore his heart on his sleeve. I feel this was one of his best qualities.
Our families traveled down the same roads. It was only natural that our families included each other. I have several fond memories of all our times together. One of my favorites was seeing my dad and Uncle Ray playing horseshoes. (cooler close by)
Uncle Ray always took time for everyone. He has a smile on his face that would light up the room. He loved your family and was extremely proud of all of you. When he would speak about any of you, it was always apparent how much you meant to him.
He made me feel more than just a niece. When I was a little girl, I just thought he was my funny, nice uncle. As I got older and realized how much he had gone through with his health, I gained a deeper love respect for him. He was a great role model and example.
He will be missed deeply and remembered fondly.
