I am amazed we received a message about remembering our dear friend Ray today! We were talking about him this morning at breakfast. We spoke about how good a human Ray really was and chuckled about how many disasters he helped us rectify as kids with his help! My wife and I would not be married if it were not for Raymond. We are both unable to list all of the things Ray did to help us and our friends as young adults it might break the internet! Love you and miss you!

To Ray’s family, you have our deepest condolences, I k ew Ray a very long time a ago, his parents and my grandparents k ew each other, I used to see him at his father’s pharmacy, after that we worked together at East Side for a few years, he was a great guy and I’m sure he will be missed by all. This is a shock as I ran into him 2 years ago on a visit To RI, again our deepest condolences.

Terri, Philip, and family,
We are very sorry for your loss of a great man. I only met Ray about 5 yrs ago and in that time did not hesitate to offer a helping hand. He was a great friend and will be deeply missed. He was always one to make everyone laugh. Our prayers are with you and we will be there when a shoulder is needed.
RIP my friend

Sheila and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. I remember him at the video store, always helping me to pick out movies, and never charging me. A great all around guy. Rest In Peace, Raymond.

My love for film was fostered by Ray and his ability to allow me to have a "tab" at his video store when I was in my teens. Ray was my hero. He hired me to work for his power-washing company when I was 20. He helped me survive financially as my only child was being born. A funny, loving, passionate soul he was. And boy did he work hard. Always. I loved seeing him on the road on the East Side driving his flatbed. I always stopped to talk to him if I saw him. He is a huge part of my memories from my teens into my late 20's. Ray was kind and generous and went out of his way for others. I will miss him greatly. To his family, his wife, his child, my heart breaks for you, I cannot even imagine what you are going through. Just know Ray touched so many peoples lives in a positive way and he is gone way too soon. Rest in peace Mooch. Love ya buddy!!

I am so sad to learn of Ray's passing. While it was many years ago, my memories go back to Ray's Entertainment on Hope Street......and Ray was such a funny guy. My thoughts and prayers to his wife, Guy, Cheryl and family at this time.

I grew up with Ray and went to school with him from the time we were 6 years old. I remember him as a sweet Boy. We would ride his "mini bike" on Blackstone Blvd and then go to his house to have lunch. He had lovely parents. As adults I would see Ray on the East Side he always ask about my Family and would tell me about his Son Philip. He was always willing to help others and not looking for anything in return. Ray's passing is a loss not only for his Family, but for all of us as well.
