Raymond Paparian Obituary

PAPARIAN, RAYMOND P. SR., 80, of Lakeside Avenue, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at home. He was the beloved husband of Selma (Dix) Paparian.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Nishan and Veronica (Whittaker) Paparian, he lived in Warwick since 1955. Mr. Paparian was a truck driver for 30 years retiring from the former Superior Motors in Pawtucket. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Warwick. A WWII veteran he served with the Marine Corps. He was the father of Raymond P. Paparian, Jr. of South Kingstown and the late Helen A. Mistofsky. Grandfather of Brett Mistofsky, Lenore, Jessica, and Lauren Paparian. Brother of Mildred Eagleson of Naples, FL and the late William J. Paparian, Helen Luther and Ruth Leyden. Uncle of William and Maryellen Luther.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Peter Church, Fair Street. Burial with military honors in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 pm.
