Raymond Storti Obituary

STORTI, RAYMOND ROBERT, 72, of Lambert St., died Monday at home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Cynthia L. (Savasta) Storti, they were married for forty-nine years.

He was the father of Karen and Allen Saucier of Narragansett, Raymond and Nancy Storti of California, Peter and Elizabeth Storti of South Kingstown and Julie and Larry Silvestri of Narragansett; brother of Frances Storti, Donald Storti, Lorraine Graziano, Loretta Maguire, Richard Storti and the late Frank Storti; grandfather of Ashley Saucier, Melissa, Stephen, Michael, Brittany, Alicia and Joshua Storti, Michael, Matthew and Jenna Rae Silvestri.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Querino and Helena (Finneran) Storti. He was a former owner, with his brother and sister, of the Quonset 'O' Club, North Kingstown. He had served on the Narragansett Town Council and Zoning Board and had been a basketball and football official for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 AM in Christ The King Church, 180 Old North Rd., Kingston. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours Friday 3-7 PM in the AVERY-STORTI FUNERAL HOME, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
