Regina L. Roux

ROUX, REGINA, L. (BOSS), 87, of Narragansett Pkwy., Warwick passed away on December 4, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Roux.

Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Ellery A. and M. Leona (Bride) Boss. She was the devoted mother of Joanna M. Roux of Cranston, Marianne J. Kulka of TX, Arthur J. Roux, Jr. of Warwick and the late Jeanne M. (Roux) Driscoll and Dianne M. Roux. She was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Roberta B. Karsch of Bristol and Alcy A. Neidlinger of FL.

She attended Providence College while raising five children, graduating cum laude. She then worked as an elementary school teacher and went on to a twenty-year career as a Disability Claims Examiner for the State of RI. She was a devout Catholic who always gave unselfishly to her family, friends and many charitable organizations. She loved golfing, reading, needlework and singing.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Peter Church, Fair Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Amos House, P.O.
