Our family knew Bob Conroy as a dedicated Boy Scout leader of Troop 22, St. Matthew's, Cranston. At different times and in different ways he helped all our three sons attain the rank of Eagle. He was kind, friendly and personable with a great sense of humor. After serious coronary issues required a transplant, he adopted the moniker "Bob Newheart". There is definitely a hole now in the neighborhood and community where he so faithfully served and there is no doubt he will be greatly missed. May his family and friends find peace and comfort during this difficult time; our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Bob was a great Friend. I always remember his quiet demeanor. He was loyal and passionate and dedicated. I'll miss the BBQ's we used to have when the kids were... well Kids. I was blessed to have known him!
