Rose Szymanski

SZYMANSKI, ROSE F. (CZEKALA), 87, of Scott Road passed away Sunday July 17, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Szymanski. Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Rozalia (Mros) Czek- ala. She was a life long resident of Cumberland. She was employed as a Secretary at the former New York Lace Store, Fram Corp. and Apex Tire Co. In the 1970's she was a cook at the Coffee Cup Restaurant. Mrs. Szymanski was a Past President of the Ashton School PTA and a Past Secretary of the Polish Young Set. She leaves her loving children Alexandra S. Lancaster and her husband Bruce of Waquoit, MA, Mary B. Kozik of Newport, Edward S. Szymanski and his wife Cynthia of Burrillville and Faustin J. Szymanski and his wife Michelle also of Burrillville, 3 devoted grandchildren Kate Tyler, Daniel and Faustin Szymanski Jr. She also leaves 2 cherished great grandchildren Ben and Natalie Tyler, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Celia French. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial MONDAY JULY 25, 2011 AT 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls.
