Ruby Minchak

MINCHAK, RUBY A. (COLLINS) 95, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Minchak. Born in Hanley, WV, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Effie (McGrew) Collins. Ruby worked in the North Kingstown High School Cafeteria until retiring, and was a member of NARF and the North Kingstown Women's Club. She leaves behind her son, Gregory J. Minchak of Richmond, RI; three daughters, Paula Campbell of Minnesota, Joanne Minchak of Florida, and Martha Minchak of Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Ruby was the mother of the late Karen Evans and Susan Minchak, both of North Kingstown, RI; sister of seven siblings. Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 7:30 am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 am in St. Francis of Assisi, 128 High St., Wakefield. Burial in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Friday, 4-7 pm.
