I knew Sophie only casually would see her briefly on Sunday mornings at The Modern Bistro in Cumberland she was such an engaging, lovely lady! My condolences to her sister, Louise, who I would see on many of those occasions as well. May Sophie be At Peace!

Aunt Sophie, thank you for all the smiles and laughter on all my summer visits and thanks for being a great sister to my grandmother, Mary, and a great aunt to my Mom.

“ MyAunt Sophie”.. I write this with tears in my eyes because she was everybody’s Aunt Sophie! Growing up she was always there for me and I spent so much time with her when Skippy was in Korea. When she worked at Kay’s I would always drop in to see her and we’ d go for a donut . Ooooh the memories of my aunt will be forever with me! She is not gone for her she is in my heart forever.

Sophie was the kindest, sweetest, woman I’ve ever met. She was my mother’s (Norma Bartolucci) best friend. She always had a good word to say and was a joy to be around. She will be missed.
All my thoughts and love to her wonderful family

My deepest condolences to all of Sophie’s family. She always spoke so highly of all of you, always mentioning how good all her nieces and nephews were to her. I know Sophie lived a good long life, but it is never easy losing someone who was as special as she was. May your hearts heal with all your wonderful memories of her. She is already missed deeply at Poppy’s Family Restaurant where she was one of our favorites. She was part of our Poppys family and we will never forget her. With Sympathy, Grace Poulin and the entire staff at Poppy’s.
