STEPHAN WRIGHT Obituary

WRIGHT, STEPHAN B., 54, of Gilbert, South Carolina, and formerly of Narragansett, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in South Carolina. He was the husband of Donna (Mayo) Wright.

Born in Wakefield, RI, a son of Hildegard (Uebach) Wright Cotter of Narragan- sett, and the late Frederick T. Wright, Jr., he grew up in Narragansett, and lived in Florida before moving to South Carolina 15 years ago.

Stephan was a graduate of the culinary arts program at Chariho Regional High School, and was employed as a chef for most of his life. He was an avid fisherman.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Sarah Marie Wright of North Port, FL; a step-daughter, Anastasia Lynn Friday of Sarasota, FL, a step-son, Frederick Michael Nerini of Bevier, MO; a brother, Frederick T. Wright, III of Waterford, CT; three sisters, Heidi M. Reardon of Narragansett, Gretchen A. Tingley of Charlestown, and Christa Orsini of Belvidere, NJ; a step-brother, Peter B. Cotter of Warwick; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the step-son of the late William H. Cotter, Jr., and the step-brother of the late William H. Cotter, III.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Florida.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Children's Hospital at Palmetto Health Foundation, Dept. 274, P.O. Box 100199, Columbia, SC 29203.
