Thomas Blanchette Obituary

BLANCHETTE, THOMAS A., 57, resident of Willington Rd., Pawtucket, RI. died on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. Husband of Jane (Bouley) Blanchette. He was born September 3, 1947 in Pawtucket RI. Son of Rolland Blanchette of Pawtucket, and the late Irene (Luttrell) Blanchette.

A self-employed attorney, in Pawtucket, for 30 years. A lifelong Pawtucket resident. A graduate of the following; Brown University in Providence RI. and the George Washington University of Law School in Washington DC. He was an assistant Scout Leader for Troop #18 in Pawtucket. A former sponsor and coach for the Pawtucket Youth Soccer Association.

Survivors include his Son; Daniel Blanchette of Pawtucket, R.I., Brothers; Stephen Blanchette of Seekonk, MA., Jospeh Blanchette of North Scituate, R.I., Michael Blanchette of North Reading, MA., Vincent Blanchette of Pawtucket, R.I, Sisters; Joan Dunn of Pawtucket, R.I., Teresa Auclair of Pawtucket, R.I., and Mary Dingley of Smithfield, R.I.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church Coyle Dr., Seekonk, MA. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to remember Tom in your prayers. Arrangements are under the directions of the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, R.I.

Steve, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your brother. I told everyone at the meeting last night. The announcement was shocking to most while some had known that Tom had serious health problems. All had felt sympathy for you. My best to you.
