Ting Chin Obituary

CHIN, TING SHEW, 92, passed peacefully Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Taishan, China, a daughter of the late Gam Cheung Lew and Gam Kuey Ng, she and her husband, Tony Yoke Chin, came to the United States and settled in Rhode Island. They were married for 74 years. Mrs. Chin was a co-owner with her husband of the Tai Dee Garden Restaurant in Warwick until they retired in 1979. Besides her husband she leaves 2 sons; Paul of North Kingstown and Matthew of West Warwick, 5 daughters; Sandra (and Jack) Lai of Cranston, Pamela Cheung of Pasadena, CA, Pat (and Steve) Tam of Eastvale, CA, Beth (and Dan) Fisher of South Kingstown and Susan Chin of Marshfield, MA, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Monday 5-7pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with a Funeral Service Tuesday in the funeral home at 11:00 am.
