Vincent Caprarelli Obituary

CAPRARELLI, VINCENT, SR., 'JIMMY', 77, of Rockwood Avenue, Cranston, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Jennie (Jacavone) Caprarelli.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Rosalia (Mariorenzi) Caprarelli.

Mr. Caprarelli was a polisher for the former Leesona Corporation, of Warwick for eighteen years. He was also employed by Curtis Jewelry Company, of Cranston for twelve years before retiring in 1993.

Besides his wife he is survived by his two sons, John Caprarelli and his wife Susan, of Cranston, and Vincent 'Vinny' Caprarelli, Jr., and his wife Chrissy, of Cranston. He was the grandfather of John and Jenna Caprarelli, both of Cranston. Mr. Caprarelli was the brother of Joseph A. Caprarelli, of Cranston.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.

We have fond memories of Vincent from Oaklawn Elementary School, as well as at John & Sue's house. He was a wonderful and kind soul.

To all of you mourning for this loss, especially our precious Vinny & Chrissy! Our hearts go out to you at this time of sorrow! You both know, I know how you are feeling, and wish I could do something to heal your pain right NOW. Take time for YOURSELVES..Grieve, cry, and look for comfort in all of us "YOUR FRIENDS" You were both there for hugs when I lost both of my parents, and I want you to know I'm here for you too! I love you both and will keep you in my thoughts as you are going through this tough time! Lots of love always, Heather & Jamie!

Our next ride on the motorcycles, you and me Vinny right up in the front of the pack, We'll ride in our Dad's HONOR! Love you Both!

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Caprarelli. I knew him to be a Good Man.



A gentle smile comes to my face as I recall many wonderful occasions of sincere conversation and genuine kindness. He will truly be missed.



My thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family.



I have no doubt he is in a Good place today.
