Walter Federowicz Obituary
Born in Poland he was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Romanowicz) Federowicz. He lived in East Providence for the past 51 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1984 he was employed as a Machine Operator for the former Okonite Wire Co. of East Providence for 38 years.
Mr. Federowicz enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
He leaves his loving children Janice Soules of Sacramento, CA, Chester W. Federowicz of East Providence, Walter Federowicz Jr., Daniel J. Federowicz and Gary S. Federowicz all of Pawtucket. He also leaves 2 sisters Frances Silva of Pawtucket and Helen Federowicz of Stamford, CT, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Michael Federowicz and the brother of the late Joseph Federowicz and Sophie Eccles.
His funeral will be held Monday December 1, 2008 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church 1098 Pawtucket Avenue East Providence at 10:00 AM. CALLING HOURS SUNDAY FROM 2:00 PM TO 5:00 PM.

Walter was a very awsome uncle to me whenever he and my auntie tillie came over to visit my dad Rene Brunelle Tillies brother, he would give me a doller every time and that ment alot to me. May you rest in the Lords care.

I worked with Joseph Federowicz, Walter's deceased brother, at Fram Corporation in Pawtucket RI back in the 1940s. Joseph had just been discharged from the United States Army after serving as a tank commander in combat in Europe. The last time I saw Joseph was in 1950. Can anyone tell me anything about him. He and I were good friends.
