never ever be forgotten ... not in a million years!!! The funny stories will live on forever!!!

Dear Mrs. Millette and family,
I am so saddened to hear of the loss of 'Mr. Millette'. I had the pleasure of having him as a teacher in Winman and in the years following school,as a friend and mentor. Through many of my life struggles I would pop back in at school to see him and he always knew just what to say and how to direct me.
The last time I saw him was just before he retired. He was a good man, a funny teacher, and, many times, my sanity-keeper.
My heart grieves with you and I pray Gods love and strength help you in the days to come.

To the Millette Family
We only had one opportunity to meet you last summer up at the Maine Camp, (where Bill seemed to catch all the fish). The Chisolm Pond community is saddened by the passing of Bill. He will truly be missed. Please accept our condolances and prayers during this most difficult of times.

June 6, 2010

Dear Mariann,
My sister, Carol, just informed of us of the sad news of Bill's death. It is so sad that both Millette sons died so young. Although it has been so many years since we were together, both Bob and I remember that fun-loving guy whose smile just dominated his face from the crinkled up eyes to the corners of his mouth. You were so happy together. May God give you serenity as you deal with this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Joan and Bob Fraher

Mariann, Billy & Micki, I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I was with my mother when Cheryl called and we were all saddened by the news. The stories just don't seem to do him justice. He will always be remembered fondly as we laugh over his antics (like running my Cabbage Patch Kid over the wood stove!), sense of humor and overall great personality. We were all better for knowing him.

Mariann, Leo, Michelle, and the entire family,
I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will truly miss his smile, and wonderful laugh. I was always quick to look for Bill at all the hockey games and practices, by seeing him I knew Danny was here. His firm handshakes and observations were always a treat. I am always reminded of his commitment to his family when ever he was around. The world is a bit darker but heaven is alot brighter with his passing.

Maryann,Never had more fun and laughter then we were in yours and Bills company . We will remember him whenever we hear someone say ''their smile lit up the room. Love Jim and Judy Prior

Mariann,Billy & michaele We are so saddened to hear about Bill (your Dads) passing. When I told my oldest son Ryan he brought up the storie of Uncle Sam making a bet with Bill that he (Bill) wouldn't dip a brownie in onion dip and eat it! to my sons surprise and Sams bill did, brownie onion dip and all! then Sheila brought up how (in our younger days) Bill would bring his Vodka to parties and put food coloring in so no one would touch HIS Vodka (hey it worked) that was Bill full of life and fun. There are many stories but those are just a couple that came to mind and made us laugh. There is a saying by Sophocles and I quote "One doe not know till dusk the splender of the day" But Sophocles didn't know Bill, he made everyday special because he had the gift to make people laugh.

Pops, thank you for a firm hand tempered with compassion, love and sprinkled with a great sense of humor. I can still here your gravelly voice calling my name when I needed to be brought back to reality. Your love of family has been a standard with which I have tried to live my own life. Thanks for bringing me into your family and sharing your love. The Lord must have called you home for a special class that needed a special teacher.

I will miss Dad, both of you were such incredible influences in my life when I was very unlovely, your lives, your marriage, the example that he lived touched so many people...if you could point to someone and say, "That's how you ought to do it," it was Dad. He will be sorely missed.

Mariann, Mickey & Billy:

Thinking of all of you and remembering the great times we had at all the parties AND YOU KNOW WHO was the life of those gatherings! Such a great guy who will be missed by so many. I've said a prayer, but knowing Bill, he's having a drink with all the family and friends who arrived before him. Just remember how much we all loved him and will cherish the memories we have.
