WEST PITTSTON — Tom Weiss, 76, of West Pittston, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017.
His lifelong work as an antique dealer, stained glass designer/teacher and accomplished artist have left Tom's mark on many lives in the area.
Tom leaves behind a son, Jason Weiss, of Wyoming, and a daughter, Laura Haines, of Texas; and two grandsons, Connor and Austin Haines. He is also survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bud Ellis, of Exeter; brothers, William (Theresa) Weiss, of Orange, and Mickey Weiss, of Clarks Summit; sister-in-law, Charlotte Weiss, of Exeter; and niece, Debi (Leo) Monelli, of Exeter; nephew, Paul Weiss, of Louisiana; and niece, Dona, of Washington, D.C. Tom will be so sadly missed by his loving companion, Mary Jule Lopata, of Plains, and by their dog, Tessa.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Ann Weiss; and brothers, Paul and Jimmy Weiss, all of Exeter.
Funeral service for Tom will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Carol Folk officiating. Friends may call 2 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.

Although I can't be there my thoughts and prayers are with his beloved companion, my sister Mary Jule. Stay strong and remember the good times you had with Tom. He will be missed by many
