Bryan Rosenberry Obituary

Bryan C. Rosenberry Jr., 80, of Eisenbower Drive Chambersburg, died on Friday, March 13, 2009 in Manor Care Health Services of Chambersburg. Born on March 22, 1928 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Bryan C. Rosenberry Sr. and Anna Bishop Rosenberry.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served with the 28th Infantry Division. Bryan retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1983 and he was a former member of the Marine Corps League. An avid baseball and football fan, his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Bricker Rosenberry, whom he married March 15, 1953; one daughter, Vickie Stoltzfus of St.. Thomas; one granddaughter, Melissa (and husband, Matthew) Spoonhour of Greencastle; two sisters, Louise (and husband, Robert) Faust of Chambersburg and Shirley Wiser of Fayetteville; four great grandsons, Hunter, Remington, Gauge, and Bow; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kay.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, March 16, 2009 in the chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Martin Lorah officiating. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, where members of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard will conduct military graveside honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Sunday and an hour prior to the service on Monday. Online condolences may be expressed at geiselfuneralhome.com.
