Patsy Ann Aldridge Rensch, 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 14, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Chambersburg May 21, 1938. She married her sweetheart, Conrad Rensch, on March 24, 1956.
Over the years she was employed by Chambersburg Hospital, was a PTA president, worked at Roses, was manager at Floyd Properties, and mainly she was a stay at home mom.
She was a member of First Church, Fayetteville.
She enjoyed bowling, writing poetry, spending time with family, playing games, decorating for the holidays and watching movies with the grandchildren.
Mrs. Rensch was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad "Coonie" Rensch, Sr.; parents, Donald Metz Aldridge and Edna Viola Woodring Aldridge; two brothers, Bill and Donald Aldridge; and sister, Doris Stoner; grandchildren, Daisy Rhodes and Savana Graves.
Surviving are his daughters, Bambi Daniels and husband, Gene, Kimberly Abbe and husband, Leon, Melissa Kampe and husband, Mike, and Amy Denton and husband, Daniel; sons, Donald and wife, Debbie, Conrad and William Rensch; sister, BetteJo Frazer; 28 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5 to 6 p.m. at First Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the First Church on Cumberland Rd. with the Rev. Daryl Williams officiating. Burial will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 12 noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Church, Kingdom First Fund, 2813 Cumberland Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 or to the Alzheimer's Association 3739 National Dr., Raleigh, NC 27612
