Dale Ann Hine

1946 - 2025

Mrs. Dale Ann (Yoder) Hine of Dayton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 25, 2025.
Dale Ann was born on Dec. 29, 1946, to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene and Mae (Ramsey) Yoder in Shamokin.
Mrs. Hine worked at S&T Bank until she became a homemaker. She was devoted to her faith. Dale Ann was a member of the Covode Global Methodist Church. She shared her love of the Lord with youth groups, preschool classes, and mission trips. She could be found happily working on her flower beds and diligently wearing out the John Deere tractor mowing the grass. She was a loving wife, wonderful friend and a talented baker. If you were blessed enough to receive a plate of baked goods from Dale Ann, you knew you were getting something good.
Dale Ann is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Scott Hine. They were married on Sept. 27, 1976 at the Elysburg United Methodist Church in Elysburg.
Mrs. Hine loved her three children, Brenda (Bill) Kirkland of Clymer, Kenneth Hine of Lebanon, and Melissa Waters of Pittsburgh.
She had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Terry Yoder of Elizabethtown, New York; sisters Nancy (James) Kulbacki of Shamokin, and Diane (Chris) Stuart of Virginia; sister-in-law Judy Yoder of Coal Township; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Elaine Yoder Berger; and one brother, Don Yoder.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at the Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, Inc., 125 E. Main St., Dayton, PA.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at the Covode Global Methodist Church, 25 Engle Dr., Rochester Mills, PA 15771, with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale Ann's memory to the Covode Global Methodist Mission Fund.
Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury.
