Above all, John loved his family, and he dearly loved his boys. He was a loving, stern father who taught them by example by his own moral character and willingness to work hard.
In addition to his wife, Althea, he is survived by four sons, John R. Yenzi III of Brookville, Randy Yenzi of Reynoldsville, Lenny Yenzi and wife Rita of Reynoldsville, and Troy Yenzi and wife Charity of Reynoldsville; 10 grandchildren, Stacey Yenzi-Howell and husband Adam, John R. Yenzi IV and wife Morgan, Hailey (Brady) Neal, Nancy Yenzi, Corey Yenzi and wife Julie, Codey Yenzi and wife Brittney, Cortney (Yenzi) Nicholson and husband Devin, Fawn Yenzi, Calla Yenzi and Briar Yenzi; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, James "Sonny" Yenzi of Anita; and one sister, Suzanne Yenzi of Delaware.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
