Robert Lingenfelter Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert Lingenfelter, who left us peacefully on Aug. 29 at the age of 72.
He was born on April 30, 1953, in Punxsutawney, raised in Coolspring, and built a life in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Robert lived a life full of love, hard work and devotion to his family. He was known for his strength and wisdom, while always ready to share a story that would bring comfort and laughter.
Robert was a dedicated comstruction carpenter, and his work reflected his pride and commitment. Beyond his profession, he found his greatest joy in his family.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Lingenfelter (Bowers); his daughter, Nicole; and his son-in-law, Jose Plascencia, as well as his three grandchildren, Jorge Plascencia, Harmony Plascencia, and Harley Plascencia. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Stephens; sister Ruth (Robert) Shaffer and brother Mike (Linda) Lingenfelter, as well as many nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory and honor his legacy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert ("The Bear") Lingenfelter and mother, Dolly Lingenfelter/Snyder (Burkett).
A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at a later date and time. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his love, guidance and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
