07/01/1938 - 6/14/2021 Jerry Archuleta, 83, died of Alzeimers on June 14, 2021, at his home in San Pedro. He was born July 31, 1938 in Roswell, New Mexico, son of Placido Archuleta and Rosaura Maez. After graduating from High School, Jerry joined the Marines, which was one of his greatest honors. Jerry had several hobbies such as golf, clean his yard (which he kept immaculate), and play the guitar. He loved it so much, he would say, he would play for any occasion, including divorces. Jerry also worked for the City of Los Angeles and was a Notary Public. In 1977, Jerry married Ana (Guerrero) Archuleta. They did not have children but enjoyed the lives of his nieces and nephews. Jerry and Ana were married for 44 years. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his 8 siblings and a son. Surviving in addition to his wife, are many sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 5:30pm Tuesday, July 6 at Green Hills, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes and Mass will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, July 7 at Mary Star, 877 W. 7th St., San Pedro.
