Joan was a greeter at the Palos Verdes Resale since the day we opened in 2005. Joan always loved giving free books to the children as they came in with their parents. Children were enchanted by Joan. She had an encyclopedic knowledge of so many things. Shoppers would want to have their pictures taken with Joan. Joan's goodness and love of others made lasting impressions on our volunteers and shoppers. She was much loved and appreciated. Our love and sympathy to the family.
