I also went to grammar school, high school and El Camino with John. He was kind, sincere with a gentle sense of humor. My sincere sympathy to his family. God rest his soul.

Mr. King was a wonderful teacher and human being! Always a smile and positive attitude to share. My daughter had him in 3rd grade. My son missed him by one year. We jokingly tried to convince him to stay one more year. Despite not having both kids, he would ask about both of them in the years after. Our family is blessed to have known him. Our prayers and condolences for his family. Mr. King will be greatly missed! "A teacher touches lives forever!"

Mr. King was my 3rd grade teacher at John Adams Elementary. I can still remember it like it was yesterday playing with the cray fish and learning social studies with Mr. King and Mr. Wren. He was such a wonderful human being and his presence will forever be missed. I truly hope he knew how much of an impact he made on each and every one of his students. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Thank you for the memories, Mr. King!

I was so sorry to read of your loss. John and I were classmates at St. Joseph and I remember him as a kind and gentle person. It would seem he grew into the same kind of adult. My prayers are with you on this sad day. I have learned in my widowhood to ask my deceased husband to pray for me from heaven where he now resides. This has given me great comfort and maybe it will be of some solace to you to ask the same of John. Again, my condolences.
