Peter Leslie Dawson, 79, of Silverdale, WA, passed away on October 16, 2021. Born on May 3, 1942 in Brentford, United Kingdom to Leslie Caisley and Frances (Aldred) Dawson. Peter attended Brentford Secondary Modern School for boys, and later received his engineering degree in the United States. Peter married Mardi Jean Ross on July 14, 1973 in San Pedro, CA. Peter worked in the Merchant Navy, and later retired as a Port Engineer. He was a member of wine tasting groups, the Masons, Knights Templar, and Scottish-American Military Society. He was a rare coin collector and animal advocate. A classic car enthusiast, he was a member of the Jaguar Society. Peter is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Mardi. Peter's memory will live on with his sister, Kathleen; nephew, Andrew; niece, Maryanne; great nieces, Chloe and Grace; close friends, John, Sam and Elliene, Kay and Mike, Jerry and Ginger; and many other friends, neighbors, and fellowship members. Public viewing was held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Memorial services will be held at St. Antony of Egypt Episcopal Church (11885 Old Frontier Road NW, Silverdale, WA 98383) on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00am.
