ALFREDO ANTHONY BOLOGNIA Alfredo "Fred" Anthony Bolognia, 95, passed away May 1, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was a long time Pahrump resident. Fred married Rosemary Ann Colletti May 3, 1947 in Chicago, Ill. They had three children. He was the 17th out of 18 children. He went to Catholic School and some college, enlisted in the Navy June 1943 and served in the European Theater. Fred was a member of the Moose Lodge, Royal Order of the ELK, DAV, VFW and Knights of Columbus. He earned many awards while working for Litton Guidance & Control Systems, now known as Northrop Grumman. Fred worked in the aero space industry for over 30 years while owning and operating his restaurants. He had seven restaurants during his life. After retiring, he worked for Trader Joe's for several years. In addition to Illinois and Nevada, he lived in California. He loved gardening, wood working, cooking, golf, playing cards and gold dredging. Later in life he spend a lot of his time volunteering. Fred's children are, Cathy Bolognia (David) Banks, MaryAnn Bolognia (David-deceased) Ross, Toni Marie Bolognia; grandchildren, Maria Guerra, Angela Guerra, Luca Banks; great-grandchildren, Roxanne Lay, Jacob (Bianca) Hurst, Daniel (Mandy) Hurst, Annarose Sophia Hurst. The Bolognia's, Suchy's, Evert's, Morale's and so many more are of his extended family. He touched a lot of lives. A small gathering in Pahrump will be May 22, 2021 at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church, 781 E. Gamebird Rd. at 2:30 p.m.. Immediately following, there will be a small celebration in one of the banquet rooms at the Pahrump Nugget, 681 S. Hwy 160. Following, there will be a celebration of life in Las Vegas and a funeral mass and burial next to his wife at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in California at a later date to be determined.
