DANIEL HAMPTON RAMSEY With heavy hearts we inform you of the passing of Daniel Hampton Ramsey on April 2, 2021. He was born June 10, 1957 in South Hampton, N.Y. to Robert and Annette Ramsey. He was raised on Air Force Bases as a child in Japan, Luke AFB (Pheonix), and graduated from Flowing Wells High School in Tucson, Ariz. in 1975. Dan married K' Leine Wanlass October 21, 1978 (divorced) and had two children, Ruth and Matthew. Dan married Sabra Henken February 12, 1999 and had two children, Sabrina and Dané and raised a stepdaughter, Angel. Dan was a retired door builder of 35 years having worked for Avanti Door Group and Pro Door Service. He was a professional musician and bassist. He played in several rock and roll bands and loved music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Ramsey and Annette Eatherton Ramsey and brother, Charles Ramsey. He is survived by his wife, Sabra Ramsey of Hurst, Texas; brother, Christopher Ramsey; children, Ruth (John) Sadlier, Matthew (Stephanie) Wanlass, Sabrina Ramsey, Dané Ramsey, and six grandchildren. He will be remembered for his gentleness, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. A viewing and funeral service will be held April 12 at Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 Vicki Ann Rd, Pahrump, NV. Viewing is at 10 a.m. and chapel service at 11 a.m.
