COLONA-Alicia Ann Unsworth Jones, 64, of Colona IL. died Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at her home with her husband by her side. Per her wishes there will be no services.

Alicia was born to George and Audrey (King) Unsworth on November 4th 1956 from Viola, IL. She graduated from Winola High school. She was a phlebotomist at Mercer County Hospital and was good at it, but desired to do more with computers. So she went to work at John Deere processing insurance claims.

Alicia loved going deer hunting out at the home place and watching birds, especially Hummingbirds. She had a love for monkeys and owned several throughout her lifetime. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Scott Jones; her sons Jason (Jen) Hammond; James Hammond; step-daughter Rachelle; 4 grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren. Her parents George and Dorothy Unsworth of Viola, IL. Jim and Audrey Giberson of New London, IA. Siblings Tom and Pricilla Unsworth, Ariz. Bill and Diane Unsworth, Viola. Tim and Carolyn Enright, Buffalo Prairie, IL. And several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Hammond, daughter Melody Dahms, sister Melody "Susie" DuVerney, grandparents Tom and Alice (McGaughy) Unsworth and Stacy Earl and Velma (Fowler) King.
