ROCK ISLAND-Beth A. Bennett, 62, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Visitation will be 4-6pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Private burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the University of Iowa Heart and Vascular Center.
Beth was born December 20, 1960 in Moline, the daughter of John and Darlene (Claeys) Kolb. She married Thomas A. Bennett on November 19, 1999 in Rock Island.
Beth was a 1978 Moline High School graduate. She retired from the Moline Dispatch in 2003. She later worked with her husband at BMS Manufacturing, Milan and Julies Artistic Rose, Moline.
Beth was a member of the Rock Island Moose and volunteered at Unity Point, Rock Island. She loved street rods, car shows, flowers, gardening, cooking and boating. She especially loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughters, Mollie Owens, Rock Island, Tori Bennett, Colona and Nici Bennett, Moline; grandchildren, Daniel and David Owens and Maxwell Bennett; brother, Kevin Kolb, Bettendorf; niece, Autumn Whitcanack, Moline and nephew, Tony Kolb, Moline.

Kevin, so sorry to hear about your sister. It' so hard to lose our family. It's one the hardest things about getting older. I, like you have now lost parents & all of my siblings. Sending you Love & hugs! We'll be in Seattle on Thursday, so wanted you to know I'm think about you and you family. May God's Peace, Love & Strength be with you all during your time of loss.
